Platform suspended under an internal air conditioning unit with scaffold ladder access.

Ladder opening in the handrails is protected with a safety chain.

Project: HPA Printing—Above Office Area.

This challenging project invoved suspending catwalks in the ceiling space 3m above a plasterboard office ceiling to enable access to suspended air conditioning units.

Lower platforms (suspended) were constructed just above the suspended plasterboard ceiling with access via ladder and ceiling hatch from the office floor.

Upper suspended platforms (shown at right) were constructed 3m above the lower platforms and alongside the air conditiong unit filters.

Access between the upper & lower platforms is by vertical ladder and access to the lower platform is via portable scaffold ladder which locates securely over the bottom platform.

Suspended platforms (shown at right) were constructed  alongside the air conditiong unit filters.

Access to the platforms is via a scaffold ladder (through the ceiling grid) which locates securely over the bottom platform.
